Injury Prevention & Performance Enhancement
Our physical therapists in Warrington use a comprehensive video analysis and physical examination to develop an individual training program built just for you, helping you prevent injury and achieve your personal best.
The frame-by-frame video analysis lets our physical therapists view the mechanics of how you run, in slow-motion. We’ll use our findings to develop a customized program that will improve your performance and help you prevent common running injuries involving the ankle, foot, knee, and hip.
Start benefiting today from common performance enhancements such as:
- Optimal running form
- Improved performance
- Increased strength and balance
The Running Analysis program is well suited for runners of all ages and levels – competitive or recreational – who are interested in improving their performance. It’s also ideal for injured runners, who will be evaluated and guided on the best ways to restore pain-free running.
This program benefits:
- Elite runners
- Student-athletes
- Recreational runners
- Long-distance runners
- Anyone engaged in physical activity
During your physical examination, we will use high-tech 2D video to assess your running style from multiple angles and planes. The video, when played back in slow-motion, helps us analyze the exact mechanics of how you move, how your joints move while you’re running, and how your muscles work to control your joint movement during exercise.

Patient Testimonials
“Outstanding program. I’m looking forward to returning to the road.”
– Garrett Gummer
“My participation in the 2015 Boston Marathon was in jeopardy because of hamstring and ankle pain. The Running Analysis program identified my weaknesses and provided me with a plan that got my training back on track!”
– Stacy Perre
“Hoping to train for my next half marathon without the usual injuries that had plagued me whenever I increased volume and intensity. I tried a running analysis at Fitness Physical Therapy to identify and proactively deal with the weaknesses in my running mechanics. The therapist listened, watched and filmed as I ran; then made recommendations. The results were amazing! I trained injury-free and two months later ran the best half marathon of my life. I had given up all expectations of a personal record, but that’s what I did on my 8th half – I ran 1:48:34 – a 75-second PR at age 57! My medal belongs to Fitness PT!”
