Michelle Horn,
D.O.

"I love working with people to not only help them with their current injury but also to help them prevent the next."
--Michelle Horn, D.O.

Dr. Michelle Horn is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine and specializes in non-surgical sports medicine and concussion management in athletes and children. Dr. Horn is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

She received her undergraduate degree in biology, art, and art history at Dickinson College and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Horn completed her internship and family medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. She completed her primary care sports medicine fellowship at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. During her fellowship, she assisted in coverage of athletes at Muhlenberg College, Northampton Community College, and Quakertown High School as well as the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. She also has experience in covering mass participation events such as the Philadelphia Triathlon and the Lehigh Valley Half Marathon.

Dr. Horn's osteopathic education provides her with a comprehensive background in musculoskeletal medicine. She believes in evaluating not only the site of injury, but also the areas surrounding it to find the underlying mechanism or body positioning that may have caused the injury. She works closely with physical therapists and athletic trainers to return people back to their activities as quickly and as safely as possible.

Dr. Michelle Horn has also served the community assisting with football and wrestling match coverage in the Central Bucks School District, and previously served as Team Physician for the Calvary Christian Academy.

Dr. Horn became interested in orthopedics as she played sports growing up and always encourages her patients to have an active and healthy lifestyle. She finds that working in the sports medicine field provides her with the opportunity to help people get back to doing what they love.

She grew up in Bucks County and both she and her husband attended Central Bucks West High School. Her hobbies include painting, building furniture with her husband, running, skiing, and photography.
